About Us

1126 Ministries exists to edify and exhort the body of Christ through discipleship ministry while growing the church through evangelization. Our mission is to provide teaching ministry that emphasizes a transformational following of Christ according to His Word; making disciples who become purposeful disciple makers.

In Acts 11:26, the believers in Antioch were called Christians. Why did this happen? These disciples were patterning their lives after Christ in such a fashion that the outside world took notice. Their identity in Christ was not a private matter but affected those around them to the point they were given the nickname “Christians” after the One they professed as their Head. The church in the world is suffering today. Sadly, many now see Christ through the skewed projection of His people who have patterned their life after religious belief and tradition rather than the person of Jesus. The cause of this is a deficiency of authentic discipleship within its members. The truth is, a “gentle parenting” approach to training disciples removes real accountability and allows for the direction of a church to be driven by emotion and whim rather than the Word and Spirit of God. It is past time for the church to stand firmly on the Word of God, unapologetically calling its members to radical faith, radical love, and radical obedience that would cause the world to know clearly who is its Head. 1126 ministries was born out of the desire to see the church to return to such a way of life that the outside world would call us out as followers of Christ.

What We Do

Edify – We seek to partner with churches that endeavor to part the fog of religious tradition and move forward in the ministry of making disciples. We want to encourage pastors, leaders, and members in the ministry the Lord has given to them. We provide biblical teaching designed to encourage the body of Christ; coming alongside existing churches and organizations. Through blogs, podcasts, video series, and ebooks, we provide quality content free of charge.

Exhort – We speak and teach at church services and conferences to encourage the body wherever the Lord sends us. We purpose to train leaders in discipleship with the end result that all disciples become disciple makers. It is through the transformation of individual believers professing and reflecting Christ in their words and actions that the church will be accurately known as followers of Christ and become more effective in fulfilling their role in the Great Commission.

Evangelize – We labor to bring new members into the body of Christ through evangelistic efforts that focus on both redemption and transformation; not leaving new converts to stumble through their faith walk but connecting them with the local church for discipleship.
